As a company, we are heavily invested in your success, and we only succeed when you make positive steps towards financial well being. Is Consumer Funding a bank?

We are not a bank. Consumer Funding works with Lending Partners to originate loans.

Will Consumer Funding sell or share my personal information?

What are the loan offerings?

The loan offerings are unsecured installment loans designed to empower you to eliminate credit card balances and save time and money with a single lower monthly payment.

How much can I save with a Loan versus my credit cards?

The amount you can save ranges from hundreds to thousands of dollars. It really depends on the amount of balances that you have. The higher the balances, the more money you can save in a lower monthly payment and interest paid over time. But you won’t just save money. You’ll also save time by paying off your credit cards faster.

Must I close my credit card accounts?

With any Consumer Funding offering, credit cards will need to be closed. You have full control and decide which debts you want paid off and closed and which cards you may need for payment convenience. Ultimately, the path to financial freedom means limiting your dependency on credit cards. To become a Better You Financially, you must break the cycle of credit card spending.

Where do I receive the money if approved for a Loan?

The funds for your loan will be used to pay off credit card balances directly. Any additional funds beyond that will be transferred into your account that you registered with for auto-pay.

Must I enroll in auto-pay?

You’ll also save time by paying off your credit cards faster.

What additional information may be required during my application?

There are generally three things that may be required outside of what you may have provided while completing the application. They are:

A color copy or photo of your driver’s licenses, passport, or state issued ID.

Proof of income by way of two most recent paystubs. If self employed, then we’ll need your most recent year’s 1040 tax documents.

Your most recent full month’s bank statements downloaded from your online bank account.

If we require any additional information, we will let you know.

Should I include my spouse or partner’s income when completing an application?

Including another person’s income helps. It also helps to pay off some of their debt too.

I’ve had credit troubles in the past. Can I still get approved?

You don’t need flawless credit history to get an approval. In fact, lending via the Consumer Funding way is about having dedicated Loan Coaches work with you to help you get approved for a program to improve your financial well-being. We thrive on helping out those who need help the most. We can get you back on track financially.

What is the origination fee?

The origination fee covers all the costs to create, manage, and service your loan. We have tried to make this as simple and straightforward as possible, by eliminating other commonly seen charges like application fees, prepayment penalties, and annual fees.

Instead, you will pay a very small percentage of the total loan amount you are requesting and it is simply deducted from your loan amount in the very beginning. All terms and any fees will be disclosed before you accept any offering. See rates and terms.

Is there a prepayment or early pay off fees?

There are absolutely no prepayment or early pay off fees. We want to see you achieve your financial goals as quickly as possible, so there are no penalties for achieving those goals sooner than expected.
